A Plovdiv woman condemned a neighbor living above her to repair a leak in her bathroom, which also reached the sanitary room in her apartment. The woman first negotiated with the neighbor to fix the damage, but he claimed that the water was not coming from his apartment, and she went to court.
The forensic technical expertise appointed in the course of the case conclusively proved that the leak came from the water supply system of the apartment on the upper floor, and the Plovdiv District Court ruled that the leak must be repaired.
The injured woman did not seek financial compensation for the damage to her apartment, but the guilty neighbor will have to pay the costs of the case of BGN 610.
